Fraktur font guide

Best for

Fraktur gives text a gothic, fantasy, or old-English look. It is useful for roleplay guilds, dramatic Adopt Me names, fantasy bios, and clan-style labels where the theme is intentionally darker or medieval.

Readability

Uppercase Fraktur letters are distinctive and can be harder to read for casual users. It works best when the word is already familiar or short, such as Nova, Raven, Shadow, Royal, or Guild.

Avoid using when

Avoid Fraktur for children's safety notes, support text, or anything that needs to look friendly and approachable. It can also be too intense for simple pet names unless the theme matches.

Practical tips

  • Test readability before saving.
  • Avoid long all-Fraktur bios.
